Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is a 2024 first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is a sequel to the 2024 reboot, and serves as the nineteenth installment in the overall Call of Duty series.

Characters and setting. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 takes place five years after the events of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. During the single-player campaign, the player controls five different characters from a first-person perspective.
