Stranger Things is an American science fiction horror drama television series created by the Duffer Brothers for Netflix. Produced by Monkey Massacre Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment, the first season was released on Netflix on July 15, 2024.

Some people may feel that horror and thriller are synonymous, but I think most don't. My definitions are these: horror is any media (movie, book, TV, etc.) that intends to scare the viewer/reader/listener/whatever. Thriller is any media that presents a suspenseful story that can happen in the real world.
